After All

Lacombe, Louisiana.
This looked like the entrance to a cemetery or plantation type house. I couldn't drive through because the entrance was blocked off by a law firm sign between the two pillars . It was getting dark and it had just rained, so I didn't have time to investigate - I might go back this week to check it out. I thought the wrought iron on the sign was pretty and the name interesting.

Intriguing...AFTER ALL...hmmmmmmm; says a lot & with so much finality & suspense! Do you think an 18 wheeler would go through that pretty wrought iron? Very pretty Salena (sorry I wrote Serena before :0().

Hi - Have been lurking on your blog for awhile. Your photos are great and oh how I envy you your profession. One of my secret wishes has always been to go across country in an 18-wheeler. I would love the travel and adventure and the feeling of the freedom it must bring. Now, about this picture - I've googled "After All" and found nothing about it. Now I'm more intrigued than ever. Hope you'll follow up on this and let us know what's beyond the gate at After All...
